The YMCA Basketball Skills Academy Youth Sports


Hoop it up at the YMCA Skills Academy! Kyle Pugh, current University of Illinois Men's Basketball student manager and former high school varsity basektball player,will bring his basketball knowledge to the Stephens Family YMCA and will work with those looking to develop and expand their game. Kyle Pugh has worked at myltiple basketball camps throughout central Illinois and the Midwest. Most recently Kyle has coached at the Point Guard College (PGC) camps, which take place all over the country. Additionally, Kyle worked for two years under Coach Anthony Figueroa at Parkland College, one year for Coach John Groce, and currently works for Coach Brad Underwood. For one Sunday in April and three in May, focus will be placed on implementing and improving the fundamentals of basketball in passing, dribbling, shooting, and defense through one hour skill work and we'll conclude each session with fifteen minutes of some friendly competition for the campers. This camp is co-ed and all skill levels are welcome. Space is LIMITED so register today. Max of 40 kids per session.
