The YMCA Basketball Skills Academy Youth Sports

Hoop it up at the YMCA Skills Academy! Andy Homa, current University of Illinois Men's Basketball student manager and former high school varsity basektball player, will bring his basketball knowledge to the Stephens Family YMCA and will work with those looking to develop and expand their game. Andy Homa has run his own basketball camps and worked at camps run by current Golden State Warriors star Shaun Livingston. Additionally, Andy worked for three years under Coach John Groce and currently works under Coach Brad Underwood. For one Sunday in April and three in May, focus will be placed on implementing and improving the fundamentals of basketball in passing, dribbling, shooting, and defense through one hour skill work and we'll conclude each session with fifteen minutes of some friendly competition for the campers. This camp is co-ed and all skill levels are welcome. Space is LIMITED so register today. Max of 40 kids per session.
